My 2000 deville base is overheating. What could be the cause of this. Oil is fine,
no leaks.

Most common is blown headgaskets, then thermostats stuck, radiator fans inoperative, plugged radiator, collapsed cooling system hoses, water pump. The list is long but everyone of those can be a cause for overheating.

One addition to your list of things to check is the coolant level in the reservoir. Make sure you have sufficient coolant in the system before changing parts.
