Hello - I have a question for all the Subaru experts if you could please. I was planning to buy a 2011 Outback tonight, 95K miles. What I found out today is making me question the investment. After reading about the CVT issues, I started digging and confirmed that this Outback did have an issue just a few months ago and SOA confirmed the CVT in this vehicle has a 24K or 24 month warranty since it was replaced with a remanufactered (NOT REBUILD) CVT under warranty. So, should I buy it and have peace of mind that the CVT issues have been addressed and maybe I'll get 100k miles out of it or walk away? Can't afford a new one, so was looking for exactly this price range - I think I should happy at this news since the known CVT problems have been addressed but could I be getting into a money pit. Thanks for any helpful feedback!
