If it has not been done before you should do it now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the four cylinder engine has a timing chain that does not normally need service for the life of the engine. Now if you have the v6 engine, it has the dreaded timing belt that should be inspected and possibly replaced around 100K miles.

The 2009 to 2014 Acura TSX has a timing belt or chain depending on whether it's the 4 or 6 cylinder engine. If you have the 4-cylinder 2.4 Liter engine, then it has a timing chain, it normally does not require service for the lifetime of the vehicle if it was well maintained and you had regular oil and filter changes. Now, if you missed a few oil and filter changes or skipped maintenance, then gunk may have build up in the engine, in which case the chain risks stretching and perhaps getting damaged at some point, so if you are insure, have it inspected. On the other hand, if you have the 3.5L 6 cylinder engine, then it does have a timing belt so it is recommended you have it inspected and/or changed every 60K to 100K miles or 3 to 5 years, as rubber eventually wears down and/or cracks or with time by effects of normal wear, weather (especially very hot or cold climates) or frequent hard/aggressive driving
