2003 Cadillac CTS 3.6 V6 No attempt to turn over

My 03 CTS refuses to make even a single noise when I turn the key. EVERY electrical
system in the passenger cabin works flawlessly, but it won't even try to start. Last
week after work one day, I got home with absolutely no issues, later that night my
wife asked me to go get her some food (pregnancy cravings) and it wouldn't even
make a sound.

And side note, not a major problem just mildly annoying, none of my steering wheel controls work? Not a huge concern but if anyone has any ideas I'll try them out
