how to tell if your 2011 ford escape limited in 4 wheel drive?

Need to know if I have 4 wheel drive, as it has been in the sub zero temp and ice on road
for over a week.

Simple.......go outside put it in the snow and gas it......it only the rear tires move..2 wheel drive. If it takes off, I would say it is 4 WD..

Yes...I test drove one and swore it was 2wd. I am under the impression it has a limited slip style drive system. Even looking under it seem odd. Not the standard style looking 4wd at all..The one I drove was a older one also..
