What is the reconmendation on driving a Cadillac srx from Columbus Ohio to California ?

It already has 145,505 miles on it. Should I do it or get a rental? I would be getting the same size car and spending the same in gas I just don't know if I should put those miles on my car its an emergency and it would save the cost of a rental but then could cost me on my car I don't know! as far as maintenance goes I need a tune up which I would get before I get on the road if I did though other wise its in great shape.

Drive it! Isn't that why you bought it? Unless you don't trust it- And, for sure, I would not trust a 10 year old Cadillac- for that kinda road trip, I think I would pick the rental-
