If the car will not crank, it is not a fuel problem; more likely an electrical issue. If, however, the car cranks but does not start, then fuel issues may be the cause but it could also be low fuel pressure, no spark, or restricted air flow. The ECM may be shot, or the other components in the electrical system like coils or distributor cap and contacts my be the cause. If you messed with the distributor, maybe you got your timing so far off it is firing at the wrong time. More info would help.
