Airbag

Asked by SuperBlonde Jan 07, 2016 at 07:09 PM about the 2006 BMW 7 Series 750i RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After my 2006 BMW 750i been in an accident our airbag popped out and we
replaced our airbag and the airbag light still on and we took it out from a 2006
BMW 750Li. Would it work or not? Or need to program? But if we need to
program it would we do it before or after? Thanks in advanced!

It should work fine, but you need to have the error code reset in the computer.

You need to have the light reset by the dealer or a BMW shop, or if you have the proper equipment, you can do it yourself. The airbag will work fine, the only difference between the 750i and 750Li is the Li is long wheelbase.
