My 525xi won't start - put key in- press the button and it just makes a humming sound. The battery is less than a year old. What could be wrong with it?

car won't start- brake pedal seems hard- steering wheel in not locked- radio,lights & a/c all
turn on - put key in the slot- press the button and nothing happens excepts a short
humming noise.

An electrical problem- a starter, an ignition switch, or a connection- if you don't have a good BMW mechanic, better find one quick- and cross his palms with silver coins-

Car runs fine, just when I put the brake on at a stop light it makes a roaring noise and a vibration is felt.

My "07 BMW 530xi has no sound coming out of the speakers. The onboard NAV and CD player work but there isn't even a ding from the seat belt reminder.
