No. Kelley Blue Book says that in excellent condition it's only worth $4725! Price is too high, it's 13 years old, and at that mileage things will start to go wrong. BMWs are not cheap to maintain, especially as they get older. You'll also want to have it serviced and repaired at a shop that specializes in imports. Your gas station or chain type of garage will NOT be able to fix this car if something goes wrong!! My Nephew learned that lesson the hard way with his '98 528i! My advice is to keep shopping! It is not a hard so fix... they have a few particular flaws and fixes not like the 'regular' cars, but the 6 cyl inline with double vanos (this is not that hard to work with, but regular mechanics are afraid of these vanos units) is pretty sturdy. I forgot about this type of engine block if it is made of aluminium or not, this caused a lot of problem regarding the threads, but most of the time they can be fixed. Also lots of electronic on this car and again, many are afraid of this. Oh, kelly BB can be wrong, but a lot of private sellers tend price it a bit high, because of sentimental and maybe they think they had extra care of the care. Ofcourse, this does not apply all the time. But 6k seems a bit too much in my opinion.

Take 60 hundred dollar bills, wrap them around a brick, and throw it into the ocean- it will save you a lot of time and frustration-
