I have a 2005 Cadillac srx v6 it wont start after gassing up

always shut the engine off when gassing, your evap is malfunctioning possibly flooding with fuel, hold peddle to metal if flooded, ck. engine light should be glowing with problem codes , Good engineers are a rare breed it seems?
