What is happening with my 2007 bmW 328I

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Temperature light came on, car speed ometer drop, car cut off.  The heat
would not get hot.

May be low on coolant. Check the coolant level.

Thanks, We add coolant and still car did the same, Could it be theromostat or water pump

It could be one or both, thermostat, or water pump. Probably be worth while to change out both.
