2006 bmw 330i

Recently my 2006 bmw 330i began running rough
and hesitant like it was about to stall.  Just replaced
vanos solenoids and vehicle ran fine then the
symptoms returned after 5 min drive.  Whats next to
end this issue?

With the light on it will often run fine. Then it will get an occasional flutter either during exceleration or idle
