The coolant light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have to fill up the radiator everty time before I leave for town.  1 km the coolant light come on - did replace radiator cap [o'rings was not there anymore] No water under the car. cant understand where the water went??  have to fill up 2 litres every time.  Please help ???  thanks. It is a 3.0i

Thanks do have 178000 km only bought it 10 mths ago. So i cant say if tank was replaced but will have it checked. Thanks a lot !! Is it going to be expensive ?? Regards
