325i bmw engine overheat no codes thrown

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car wants to over heat even while driving down the
road the cooler the better it seems everything
dealing with the coolant radiator ect new maybe
around 2 3 months old , my electric fan will not cut
on enless i unplug the thermostat sensor or turn on
the defrost...... was just curious if having that
unpluged and having the fan run full dpeed with the
cluth fan will cause it to run hot cause it cant read
a sensor

You need to visit your local BMW Dealer or a shop that specializes in imports!! Other places like the corner gas station or chain type of garage will not be able to fix this car!! My Nephew learned that lesson the hard way with his '98 528i. BMW cooling systems are very fussy and they DON'T like to be run hot or overheated!! You may already have a cracked head!! HTH. -Jim
