Asked by May 15, 2018 at 04:53 PM about the 2002 BMW 3 Series 325i Sedan RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Two months ago I went to start my car and it
wouldn’t start, no click no nun, but when I turned
the key the lights and everything else worked fine. I
I waited a few days and boom it started then maybe
a month ago situations accured to where my starter
would click but not start this happened a few times
and last week my car just wouldn’t start I replaced
my started I went to connect my battery as soon as
I did that “click click click” the starter was firing I
disconnected my battery I switched the “red wires”
on my starter that ran from the battery and
alternator cause those where the only ones out of
place and then I went to start it and nothing just like
before lights radio everything works just no power I
check my old starter by connecting it to the battery
of my car and the old one fired up no prob so what
could it be why isn’t my starter getting power

check your ground for corrosion, should be one under and on the side of the engine.
