How much will it cost to replace both transmission
and oil pans?

An engine mount tool bar is what support the engine from the top of the car when you remove the mounts underneath.

The repair you are asking for a price on can vary greatly depending on where you live, what type of shop is doing the work and if they are honest or not. Be prepared either way though as its not going to be cheap even if you get a good deal - I would say in the $1500 price range with parts and labor - It's a BMW and even though its a well engineered and solid car - its cost $$$ to repair
