My 1998 BMW 328i is overheating at the radiator but not at the motor

Why would my 1998 BMW 328i be hot at the
radiator overheating get in touch to the motor and
the container next to the radiator on the right hand
side of car is leaking and spraying out

How did you determine the radiator is overheating but the engine is not?

There could be a number of problems such as bad radiator cap, bad or clogged hoses, bad thermostat/thermometer, damaged radiator. The list could be endless but the most important thing is DO NOT DRIVE IT. The solution could be a 30 radiator cap or a hose. If you drive it and lose coolant you will damage the motor. Please update with more info please. Any info on how the hoses or if anything looks out of place before and after it started to leak. Let it cool down and take some pics of the hoses and cap and coolant tank.
