Question type: Car Customization

I do have a 1989 325I convertible bmw.
The engine is done.
I have an offer for a 1992 325I engine,but dont know if its gonna fit??
Does it fit? Do I have to make changes or adjustments to it? Or just take one out and install the other?

it should fit since they both have the same engine compartment size.
