Does a 2011 q7 has to go to the dealer for brake changes?

Looking to buy a q7 but heard that all maintenance has to be done by dealer

An Audi specialist is a good idea- look for an independent garage that has gold plated ashtrays in the waiting room and the service writer is called a "consultant" and is wearing a Rolex- if he speaks German, you've found the right place- now cross his palm with silver- maybe they will let you speak with Hans, the technician in the back

Make sure they has a tool to open the electronic brakes. Midas, Mineke, etc. don't usually have the tool.
