Question type: Shopping & Pricing

This car has had two owners locally.  Both owners maintained the car meticulously, I have the complete service history on this car, it's been in no accidents, drive belt was changed at 76,690, plus all the scheduled maintenance was performed on time, oil changes, et al......I wouldn't be driving more than 5000 miles a year, as I'm retired and have another vehicle that I use for running errands, shopping etc. Just wondering what expert thoughts you guy my have as far as purchasing this Audi!  Thanks In Advance!

At 100 K, as you would expect, parts have started to wear; in particular ft end, brakes rear suspension. If those items and the engine / drivetrain are good, then you can expect normal wear and tear items to occur at about $2500/ year and a LOT OF FUN driving. If its a second car, take it out at least 1 time a week to keep the parts from rusting and causing premature wear. Have fun! Life is short.

Hey Christopher, Sorry to get back to you so late! Yes, I purchased the car and it seems to be in really good condition mechanically considering the miles! I probably will be not putting much more than 3-4 thousand miles per year on the car, so I will definitely heed your advice, as I have been taking it out 1-2 times per week and driving it on the Freeway about 15 miles 1 way and then turn around and drive it back! Give it good warmup! Circulate the fluids! On all of the cars that I looked at, this one had no accidents, all of the maintenance records, which were done regularly and then some, BUT there is an Audi recall notice that was issued on Dec. 8 2016 for a valve that needs to be replaced concerning the A/C....so will take it up to an Audi dealer to get it fixed, should that be free by Audi?? I'm assuming that is would be. This car has incredible electronics, I had no idea how advanced Audi was in that arena! I did purchase Extended Warranty on the car for 2 years, JUST IN CASE! Thanks Again Christopher!
