Usually a heavy duty radiator has an extra row of tubes or is possibility larger overall to be able to handle an extra cooling load like when towing a trailer, for example. You'll need to get the option code for the heavy duty cooling system and check the RPO sticker to see if you have it. The RPO sticker is usually on the inside of the glove box door. It'll say do not remove in big letters. Then it'll have letters and numbers in groups of three. Those are your option codes for your specific vehicle. On some vehicles it doesn't matter but on others it does. If you don't have the heavy duty cooling system and you get a heavy duty radiator, it may not fit. Same is true the other way around.
