ABS wheel speeed sensor

Asked by mailman Jul 12, 2011 at 09:02 PM about the 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My esp/bas and abs lights come on and go off. Some times  when I step on the brake it sounds like the abs is working but I'm only slowing down on dry pavement. Also when I'm driving down the road its seems to jerk a little like I'm tapping the brake.

I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty and the esp/bas and abs lights kept coming on. Sometimes when I applied the brakes in August, they acted like I was on ice when the road was dry. Took the car into the shop and they thought the speed sensor was not working. When they repaired the problem they said the wiring to the rear tires was damaged and now the problem is fixed.
