2007 jeep liberty power issues

Asked by fraser10127 Nov 16, 2014 at 08:09 PM about the 2007 Jeep Liberty Limited 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had to replace the starter, but to get to it
I had to take the front driveshaft out.
Now that I put it back together it starts
fine but for some reason the engine
doesn't have any power, but if I take the
front driveshaft out it runs fine. I lined it
up the same way it came out but I can't
figure out why the engine has no power
with the driveshaft installed.

I just replaced the CV joint on my front drive shaft, And in order to remove it, i also had to take the OXG SENSOR off. could it be possible that you forgot to reattach the senor wire? or maybe it's loose? That would make your engine run like it has no power at all.I would check that first......hope this helps
