Water leaking onto driver side floorboard

My daughters 2011 Ford Taurus is leaking water
into the floorboard on the drivers side!  Is this a
heater core issue or something else?

Try to look at what color the water is to determine if it is anti freeze. More than likely it would be a heater core.

If u have sunroof could be the drains there too... heater core is will give u other symptoms including engine overheating. And windows fogging up with a sticky residue. Check the cowl and clean

Also sometimes the drain for the ac box gets clogged and causes the box to fill up with water and it will over flow into the passenger floor area.
