Drivers side door open light and map light, interior lights on--key out, door closed
Check your interior dimmer light switch. It may be set to stay on. If it is the wheel type switch you should feel a slight indent as you're going to the highest setting. Once you hit the indent back it down just a bit and the dome light should go off when you close the door.
