A/C conditioning & heater

Asked by GuruVGQVZ Sep 25, 2018 at 03:38 PM about the 2010 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I turn on the heater and put temperature control dial in the red for
heat the  A/C indicator lights goes on and only blows cold.  The A/C
indicator light normally can push off but stays lit.  This light will go off if I turn
the blower off.
I tried turning the blower off and keeping the temp control dial in red and
driving  to see if some residual heat might flow through the vents but only
cool air flows.  Also, the engine temperature indicator on the dash board
shows in the normal position.  All the fuses that relate to the heater and air
conditioning are ok.  See attached photo of light that won't go off:  Thanks
for your help
