i have constant power to trailer lights on 2010 doge ram. it is as if you had brake lights full time. why is this? no turn signal no running just full brake lights. even when truck turned off.

I think your trailer or the trailer wiring connection is wired wrong. 7 pin trailer connectors have a hot wire which on my trailer is hooked up to the trailer break away battery.
