Check your manual. They are sealed units and should not be messed with unless you are experiencing trans problems. Fluid levels have to be measured under very specific conditions. It is easy to overfill or underfill by inexperienced owners which is why most makers eliminated trans fill tubes. Take it to your dealer or reputable mechanic for a transmission diagnostic if you show signs of shifting problems, otherwise leave it alone.
