Where is the radio antenna mounted in Passat B6? What does the FM2 antenna do?

Asked by liviubalcanu Aug 26, 2013 at 01:34 PM about the 2010 Volkswagen Passat Komfort

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My radio has a poor reception for almost all channels! In the test menu it tells me that antenna 2 is off. Also with VAGCOM there's an error that says "open circuit" for the radio antenna. I verified at the back of the RNS and the antenna is plugged in (if a take it off there is no signal ) . So I suppose that it is off at the other and but I don't know where is this. I have no roof antenna!!!!!
