what would cause the dash lamps as well as the headlamps to flash off and on

Asked by Kelvin Mar 30, 2015 at 11:32 AM about the 2010 Mitsubishi Outlander ES

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving last night all of the indicators lit up and my headlamps started flashing and then went out. I heard a clicking sound as if something was trying to reset itself. Even after I shut down the engine the clicking continued. At one point I couldn't start the car, but once the clicking stopped, all was good.
