Subaru Tribeca Driver's side wiper blade not same as Bosch 26A. Does not fit arm.

Asked by bbbttt Mar 13, 2017 at 03:08 PM about the 2010 Subaru Tribeca Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

According to several cross ref the Bosch 26A should fit Tribecas 2008 to 2012.
But the hook on the wiper OEM arm is too wide to fit the slot on the Bosch.
Any one else find the same?

Some blades have wider hook slots with a thin plastic insert for narrower hooks. Just buy one of these. i think the $7.99 nice Goodyear at Costco works well.

TheSubaruGuruBoston Good point. I will take a look. Oddly the Bosch 26A had metal clip inserts, but not removable.

TheSubaruGuruBoston FYI I find that Goodyear has None for Tribeca Driver side. See site: http://goodyearwiperblade.com/application-data/? m=SUBARU&d=Tribeca

Grind the end of the arm to fit a normal wiper...problem solved forever
