I do not think the intake stuff would have any effect on starting. If the engine turns over slowly you may need a new battery or a battery heater. When was the last time you did a spark plug and filter change?

The dealership said they were done at 100k and that they put 100k mile plugs in, and I did the filter when I saw it had a cold air intake..

That is good. Severe cold is hard on everything. I don't know that much about block heaters but it if is not strong enough you might need a better one. A battery heater will help the battery operate as it should.

Are you leaving the heater plugged in all night?

Yes I am when I get off work I plug it in right after I shut engine off then I start her for a few minutes then unplug her, I even got my company to let me plug in at work!

Must be really cold where you car. I suppose a can of ether might help.

ford put there fuel pump module in a bad place located above the spare tire on a cross bar. they like to "clam shell" ( break apart ) weather will cause them to act up. hot, cold, snow, slop and rain, drop the spare tire and check it,should be obvious if it's starting to clam shell.
