Instrument cluster works fine except for odometer reading

The instrument cluster is digital. It has to come out of the dash to be serviced, meaning disassembly of part of the dash. There is a high probability one or more of the connecting pins (about 10) on the back side of the circuit board controlling the odometer needs to be re-soldered. But that is not guaranteed. I suspect you may be able to locate a video on the net to at least give you an idea of what you are looking for once you remove the back cover of the cover. I know for a fact dealerships do not repair the circuit board, they replace the entire cluster. Doing solder work on a printed circuit board is precise delicate work. An alternative is sending the cluster out to a repair facility specializing in repairing them. Or, of course, obtain another cluster and installing it yourself.
