Fuel tank damage?

Some thief siphoned fuel from my 2010 F150 a few months ago and ever since,
I've been getting horrible gas mileage.  I'm wondering if something could have
been damaged by putting a tube down the filler tube into the tank or if the
locking gas cap I installed could impact miles per gallon.  Thank you!

They may have damaged the anti siphon device but that would have no bearing on your fuel economy. Is the check engine light on? Do you have a gas leak?

Thank you - The check engine light was on briefly after the first two or three starts after the theft. No gas leak.
