2005 focus alternator all disconeccted. Take it out from underneath? What all do I need to loosen up to do this?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have got the alternator on my 2005 all disconnected. Looks like no way it will come out through the top. Do I need to remove motor mounts and anything else to get it to drop out through the bottom? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

put a floor jack with a 2x4 pice of wood under oil pan, remove top motor mount jack up as high as it will go it will come out,is a pita to replace, the wood protects oil pan from any damage.
