i'm looking at a 2010 Jeep Patriot w/47,000 miles for 13,888. do you think this is a good deal?

sounds like a pretty good deal. Mine's got 33k miles and is worth more(not counting wrecks), but you might want to make sure there's nothing wrong with it. Mine has less to go wrong, being a sport model with crank windows, basic stereo, manual locks/seats, etc. though it does have the CVT, which helps with gas mileage. Rides smooth, just needs routine maintenance(oil changes, etc). I'd say, if you want a Patriot, there's hardly anything better.
