Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Bought a Subaru from an authorized Subaru dealer. Turns out it was
auctioned twice. Was not sold at 3 other dealers. My "reputable" Subaru
dealer did not disclose full Carfax disclosing this info.

My Subaru has major mechanical problems. Motor blown by first lease purchaser. Part of motor from junk yard, engine straps cut, bent alternator, burnt air blower box, worn timing belt at 59k miles, wrong tires. Compliments of my authorized Subaru franchise dealer.

the Whip - that is why you should have the car inspected by an independent mechanic. If your Subaru dealer gave you an inspection checklist or some other claim of inspection you may have a claim.

Almost all used cars sold by dealers are bought at auction first. Sometimes they do sell really clean trade ins but all the marginal cars are auctioned off first to other dealers.
