Why does the exclamation point inside the horse shoe on the left side of the lower dash not go out after air is checked and the pressure is the same in all four tires

Maybe the pressure the warning is set at is different than the pressure you filled your tires with. Read your owners manual for more information. It is also possible that your tire pressure sensors need replacing.

That's your tire pressure indicator light. Is the light flashing? when you just turn on the ignition? or does it just stay still?
