My 2010 Toyota RAV4 sputtered and died and now won't start ... what is wrong???
It sounds like the fuel pump is engaging when you turn on the key, however it
still won't start .. what could be wrong with it .. the battery is good it was just
your fuel pump should be likely the problem
If it is the fuel pump and I decide to go with a used reconditioned one and it doesn't have for instance the sensor and things that the original one does .. how hard is it replace and get the things I need from the original one to use or is that even possible???
my rav4 just had similar problems. sputter, died and wouldn't run long enough to drive. try pulling a spark plug out and see if it runs with plug out. look real careful for exhaust smoke to come out. ended up being a blocked converter. making it start, sputter, an die. took 3 weeks of trial and error to notice. good luck.
