I have an 05 Sebring. Over Saturday evening I made a right turn and heard a pop sound like hitting a pot hole only I didn't hit one. As soon as that happened I lost all acceleration the shifter and the dash gear selector are inline with each other so the shift cable is intact cause I made sure. I changed the Shift Solenoid on the Transmission its not that. I even took the trans oil pan off and changed the filter, it was pretty bad cause the Transmission has never been serviced and it has a 142k on it. But the only thing left I can think of is the Torque Converter went out..because its not even an axle issue cause their good to..

And another thing is there is no noise coming from the transmission at all..I hear nothing. When I start it up an rev it alittle bit an take my foot off the padel it'll continue to rev for about 3 seconds and ever climb alittle bit in rpms. I don't understand what the problem is. The only thing I can think of its the Torque Converter.

Run codes on it and see what it says. Had same issue and I eneded up being the TCM. replaced it and all was good for a yr and 3 months. Now it needs replaced again and Im just over chrysler now. Every chrysler dodge are all the same and same issues. no wonder they have class action suits against them over the 2.7L v-6
