This is the second radio to die in my 2010 VW Jetta TDI Sportswagon. The first one just randomly "popped" and the screen went blank. I did some research, and found hundreds of people with the same car who had the same experience. This was right after the emissions scandal broke. I called Volkswagen of A. and after a establishing that I purchased the car new, and had all of my annual oil changes etc. done at the dealership, they agreed to replace the radio. The other day I started the car to go to work and the battery was dead. I finally got the car to start but the radio display was flashing. I turned it on, but no sound came out. Had the battery checked, it was good. Radio is still flashing, but I cannot play CD's or radio stations. Also, my AC does not blow cold, and the latch on the rear door is broken. With only 62,000 miles on it, this car should not be falling apart like this.
