Honda Civic AC Question

We usually let our car run with the AC on before we put our baby in the car
because he gets too hot in his car seat. Well, yesterday when we got in the
car, it was super cold, so I turned down the AC a bit. I got like maybe 4-5
minutes up the road and I felt super weird. I put it off but then it got worse. I
noticed something coming from the vents in the car so I shut the AC off. I
pulled over like a minute after this because I just kept getting extremely
lightheaded.
Once I stopped, I still saw something coming out of the vents. Not sure if it
was smoke but I am assuming because it smelled like a slight burning smell
once I stopped the car. I hurried up and got my son and I out. By the time I
called someone for help, someone stopped and shut the car off for me and
they didn't see anything. Why would it just stop?

What could this be?

Anyone else ever has this issue? There was nothing green like a freon leak
or anything.

I know my husband said the blower fan motor seems louder and the cabin
filter is very dirty.

Someone mentioned the AC compressor. Not sure what else it could be.

Maybe freon leak That stuff has a terrible odor sometimes. That would also explain your "light headed" feeling. (Just a guess)
