2010 CHRYSLER 300 WONT START!

Asked by 20chrysler10 Aug 02, 2014 at 11:50 AM about the 2010 Chrysler 300 Touring RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2010 Chrysler 300 wont start, when the key is put in it wont crank on, AC, Radio, lights and everything else turn on but thats it. I just changed the battery less than a week ago, when lights turn on engine light stays on and blinks about 11 times and a solid red dot turns on under the speed-o-meter. Ive tried disconnecting the battery and still nothing, the alarm to the car and remote have not worked since a few months after i got the car and its going on 3 years that i have it. Also the locks on the doors go crazy when trying to start the car, they unlock and lock but engine makes no noise at all when key is turned, HELP!!!

I had a similar issue and it was the key. Try another key if you have one or bring the key to the dealer and ask them to check it. They should be able to tell you if it is bad and provide a new one.
