There is likely no reset button. If the TPMS light is on you either have a tire with low air pressure or an issue with the TPMS system. Check the air in the tires.

Simple to reset. Follow these directions: 1. while car is on push the brake pedal 4 times slowly. 2. Put on emergency lights 3. put on the the high beams 4. Beep the horn 11 times 5. shut the car off for 3 -4 hours then check the gauge should be working now!

TGXTM is correct. So is ZM3Xy. 85KS is yanking chains. From what I have read, the TPMS uses RFID to communicate. And that is powered by batteries. The batteries have a life expectancy of about seven years. Earlier estimates were five years. But that has been revised. You have two integrated pieces. One is the transmitter from the tire, the other is the software system in your car electronics. You can try a "hard boot" if the problem lies in the SW. Which involves removing the negative terminal on your car battery for about a minute. If that doesn't resolve it, you need to have the TPMS system checked. And as I said, if the car is older than seven years, then the fault most likely is in the TPMS sensors. Which will need professional review. Since it isn't just a part replacement process. Sensor coordination needs to be performed if a sensor is replaced.

I am having the same issue. Last week we had a cold morning (In Florida) and the low tire pressure light has come on. It hasn't gone off. Tire is showing the same pressure as the three others and it still will not go off.

I'm having the same problem. I called Hyundai roadside assistance and they didn't have a clue. All the rude women would say was "do you want me to have someone come and put the donut on? Yes or no?" Same on Hyundai for having so little support for a known problem.

Over inflate the tire that is indicated by a few pounds. Drive the car around the block a few times, and when it goes off, deflate the tire to normal. Should work, pull into any Hyundai who should reset it for free (Covered under their fantastic bumper to bumper 5 Yr warranty plan)

I have the same issue. Last night was cold, for So Cal standards and now my right rear TPMS is stuck. Going to try the over inflate method, seems logical it may work.

If the light is on one of the sensors is bad. The HUD display in dash should pin point which one is bad. You dont have to go to the dealer for these sensors. Any reputable tire shop will have universally programmable sensors in stock. They basically clone the RF ID off of one of the good sensors and apply it to the new one with a little handheld computer.. if the tires are not low, over inflate a little as stated above or resort to the source above...a reputable tire shop. Ask them to fill with Nitrogen and the air pressure will never waver with temp.

I have a 2012 accent and apparently there is a reset button under the steering wheel. Turn the ignition to on. Hold the button til the light flashes. Start engine. Wait 20 mins. Of course make sure your tire pressure is 32-35 before doing this.
