Bad fuel pump?

Asked by Dylan Dec 23, 2018 at 06:01 PM about the 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Ext. Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2009 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3 4x4, driving down the
road and suddenly dies and won’t start back, will
crank. Assumed it to be a bad fuel pump and had
it checked out and the guy said it was so I had it
replaced but now I’m not getting power to the
pump it seems. All suggestions appreciated!

I'm having the same issues 2010 GMC Sierra 5.3 SLT just cuts off while driving...Its frustrating and battery dies especially after cold weather reduced engine power as well
