Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The key would not come out of my explorer. I took the console off and pushed
the pin back in and the key came out. This was my second time needing to
do this as the pin eventually worked it's way back out. The first time I had to
other issues, however, this time after I fixed the pin problem, I went to start
the vehicle and it just clicked. I jump started it and it started right up.
Everything then was fine for a few weeks then all this happened again and
right after fixing the pin, the car just clicked upon start up. Am I missing
something here or is this just a coincidence that it happens right after getting
the key unstuck.

A click usually indicates a low battery, solenoid, or starter. Try checking there.
