Can a bad fuel tank pressure sensor cause my 2010 Ford Escape to stall?
I had Oreillieys check the engine code, it came back as a P1450. Prior to
checking it, the car had stalled while driving, that's why I had the engine code
checked. the check engine light came on.

The sensor output voltage to the Engine Control Module (ECM) increases as pressure increases. The EVAP control system pressure sensor is not used to control the engine system. It is used only for on board diagnosis.
P1450 usually indicates unable to bleed up fuel tank. Replacing the Evap purge valve located on the front of the engine
