Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey guys, I have a 2010 Grand Marquis that the wipers will not turn off. The off position is a little faster than the slowest intermittent position. Also the washers will intermittemtly go on and drain the washer fluid tank. Right now I have pulled the 30 amp fuse in the fuse/relay box under the hood. I need some schematics so I can troubleshoot. The switch (speed and push for fluid) I assume is what you are calling the multifunction switch feels good but that does not mean much. Any suggestions. Dealer said could not make it fail and wanted $400. I'm electronics engineer just need some schematics or info on replacing multi switch. Where is best place to get drawings? Thanks, Ron

I've found the best to get information is the library also to change the Im pretty sure you have to pull the steering wheel to get access to it but to it SOUNDS like to you may have a bad switch in do think your right they call it the multifunction switch. Hope this helps you a little bit?

I have change the multifunction switch check the the fuse 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment number 110 and it is still I have no windshield wipers at all before the windshield wipers would come on intermediate intermittently now that I have changed the multifunction switch I have nothing trying to locate where the window wiper module is any any help or Clues
