2010 Chevy Cobalt 2.2 spark plugs

Asked by Cobalt_blue_2001 Aug 25, 2019 at 05:40 PM about the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was about to hit 100,000 miles so I thought that I
would replace the air filter and spark plugs. I
accidentally installed ACDelco 41-108 and I
should've installed 41-103. Is this a big issue? The
plugs were the same size and everything fit okay
but is there anything I should worry about and
should I change them? Any advice would be great,
thanks!

The 108's as you probably know are recommended for the 2.0L Turbo engine, not the 2.2L. I would replace them with the proper ones. One plug is hotter than the other , not giving you the proper burn. Plus they are gapped differently 103's should be gapped at .043".
